R-repo offers a repository of RPM for R libraries.
These RPMs are built automatically using the R2spec project.
This has a number of implications:
- The RPM are not respecting 100% the standards from Fedora or EPEL/CentOS.
- Only the ‘Require’ and ‘Import’ dependencies from the R libraries are taken into account (so ‘Suggests’ dependencies are missing)
- The choice of dependencies means that the command “R CMD check” which can be ran against R packages, is not run at build time and will likely fail
This also mean that there are probably some bugs, so feel free to point them out and let’s see if we can fix them.
